Check out the list of conferences other Engineering students have attended. We provide matching travel funds for students. Please apply early! Provide at least two weeks before travel for processing. Funds are limited first come first served. You may submit your funding request at the time of your article/poster submission if you are accepted to present, you are required to provide the confirmation at least 30 days in advance without the confirmation, your funds will be released to the next person. The funding comes from the Graduate School and provides a funding match up to $400 per student request per academic year. student who is presenting a scholarly paper or poster at a major professional meeting. This award provides support to a master's or Ph.D. Graduate Student Professional Travel Award (GSPTA) Proof of abstract acceptance and registration fees is required. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a College of Engineering major and in good academic standing. Up to two students can be awarded every month during the academic year. Awards cannot be applied retroactively to conference that have already passed. Applications are due by the 1st of every month (October - April) and will be reviewed by the College's Research Advisory Committee. This award is designed to help graduate students offset the cost of presenting research at a virtual conference or scientific meeting.
